Tony and Garret are exceptionally detail-oriented and professional. They handled enormous 48” x 24” tiles — difficult and heavy — and turned them into a stunning, cohesive design. They kept the job site immaculate, laying foam walkways through our home and vacuuming daily.

The original bathroom lacked functionality and no longer aligned with the homeowners’ lifestyle. Its outdated design, an inefficient tub-and-shower layout, called for a thoughtful, modern transformation.

DESIGN

Todd’s vision for a bright, accessible bathroom was brought to life through thoughtful collaboration with Project Manager Tony and our in-house designer.


Together, they curated a soft, modern palette of black and light greys, subtly warmed to evoke calm and openness. The design blends contemporary style with timeless elements—sleek lines and gently curved edges create a space that feels both sophisticated and inviting.

Custom grey cabinetry paired with a rich black quartz countertop adds depth and warmth, while brushed nickel fixtures introduce a refined, polished finish.

A crystal-clear frameless glass door enhances the sense of openness, complementing the large-format tiles chosen for their clean look and easy maintenance. Every detail was intentionally selected to create a serene, elegant, and accessible retreat.

Room 1, measuring 105.44 square feet, serves as the kitchen zone in this floor plan. The layout includes dual cooktops, an oven, a sink positioned under a window, and adjacent counter space. The configuration offers a functional work triangle, with clear separation between prep, cook, and clean zones. The space also connects directly to Room 5, possibly functioning as a pantry, and opens toward the larger Room 4, allowing for a semi-open flow ideal for entertaining or shared living.

The build phase spanned four weeks, guided by the meticulous oversight of owner Tony Prough.
With daily site visits and detailed progress logs, Tony ensured every element aligned with Angry Cat Contracting’s high standards. His hands-on approach kept the project on schedule and allowed for timely adjustments—such as addressing unexpected subfloor issues—without compromising quality.

We incorporated thoughtful ergonomics to ensure Todd and his family comfort and accessibility:​

  • Upstairs laundry for ease of daily routine

  • A technologically advanced bidet 

  • A spacious zero clearance walk-in shower to replace the dated tub/shower combo

 

Each adjustment served a functional purpose while seamlessly enhancing the overall aesthetic. The result stands as a testament to Angry Cat Contracting’s commitment to thoughtful design—where form and function are perfectly balanced.
