How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

Bathroom remodel pricing depends on the size of the room, existing conditions and how much we're changing. We provide a detailed proposal for the complete scope of work. Our project price includes labor and the standard building materials needed to complete the job. Customer-selected finish materials are budgeted separately, and we can help you through those selections.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

A standard 5x8 full bathroom remodel typically takes about three weeks. Larger bathrooms, custom showers, layout changes or extensive plumbing and electrical work can take longer. We'll go over the expected schedule with you before the project starts.

Do you provide the materials?

Yes. Angry Cat provides the standard building and construction materials needed for the agreed scope. Finish materials - such as tile, vanities, faucets, fixtures, lighting and flooring - are based on your selections. We can include a finish-material allowance in the proposal and help you choose and purchase what the project needs.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Our estimates are free. We'll meet with you, look at the project, talk through what you're trying to accomplish and put together a detailed written proposal.

Do you warranty your work?

Yes. Angry Cat Contracting provides a 5-year workmanship warranty. Products and materials may also carry their own manufacturer warranties. Custom tiled showers are built with Schluter waterproofing systems, and any Schluter manufacturer warranty depends on the specific system and the manufacturer's current requirements.

We hired Angry Cat Contracting LLC (Howell, MI) to fully remodel our master bathroom — demolition to studs, new plumbing and wiring, subfloor repair, exhaust fan, HVAC duct relocation, and tile installation. The project ran from August 25 to October 3, 2025, and the results are flawless.
Tony and Garret are exceptionally detail-oriented and professional. They handled enormous 48” x 24” tiles — difficult and heavy — and turned them into a stunning, cohesive design. They kept the job site immaculate, laying foam walkways through our home and vacuuming daily.
Their communication was phenomenal — responsive day and night, transparent about materials and labor costs, and always on top of updates. They finished on time and exactly on budget, which speaks volumes about their integrity and skill.
They were also punctual and hardworking: arriving between 8:15–8:30 AM every morning, working through the day without breaks, and giving consistent, focused effort.
While Angry Cat isn’t the cheapest option, their quality and work ethic make them worth every penny. The craftsmanship and care they bring to the job are outstanding. We’re already planning to hire them again for our powder room remodel. We highly recommend Angry Cat Contracting for any bathroom renovation.

We had a great experience with Angry Cat construction. They took our decades old bathroom down to studs, brought back the most beautiful, functional, well built room in the house. They made sure everything was up to our specifications and as perfect as possible. They ended up doing extra work as our house has challenges due to age and spent a full two days under the house in the crawl space replacing all of the existing plumbing. They made sure the mess was restricted to the bathroom and hauled everything away. A family business with a strange name.

The company

Angry Cat started with Tony, his two boys and a grumpy cat they won from a claw machine. The name stuck. The idea behind the company is simple: do things the right way, treat people with respect and don’t do anything halfway.

Most remodelers grow by hiring crews and subcontracting the trades, which puts three or four layers between the person who sold you the job and the person holding the trowel. We went the other way. Tony quotes it, plans it and runs it, and the crew you see in these photos is the crew that shows up.
