Tony and Garret are exceptionally detail-oriented and professional. They handled enormous 48” x 24” tiles — difficult and heavy — and turned them into a stunning, cohesive design. They kept the job site immaculate, laying foam walkways through our home and vacuuming daily.

The original bathroom lacked functionality and no longer aligned with the homeowners’ lifestyle. Its outdated design, an inefficient tub-and-shower layout, called for a thoughtful, modern transformation.

DESIGN

Todd's vision for a bright, mobility-friendly bathroom came to life through a thoughtful collaboration with Project Manager Tony and our in-house designer.

Together, they crafted a soft, inviting palette of black and light greys, warmed with subtle undertones to create a sense of calm and openness. Modern elements were balanced with timeless touches—sleek lines and gently rounded edges shaped a space that feels both current and classic.

​

Custom grey cabinetry paired with a pristine black quartz countertop introduced warmth and elegance, while brushed nickel fixtures added a layer of refined sophistication.

A crystal clear frameless glass door was chosen. Large-format tiles, selected for their clean look and low-maintenance appeal, tied the design together—each detail intentionally chosen to create a serene, accessible retreat.

Room 1, measuring 105.44 square feet, serves as the kitchen zone in this floor plan. The layout includes dual cooktops, an oven, a sink positioned under a window, and adjacent counter space. The configuration offers a functional work triangle, with clear separation between prep, cook, and clean zones. The space also connects directly to Room 5, possibly functioning as a pantry, and opens toward the larger Room 4, allowing for a semi-open flow ideal for entertaining or shared living.

BUILD

The build phase unfolded over four weeks, characterized by the diligent oversight of owner Tony Prough, who ensured every detail adhered to the highest standards. Daily visits and thorough logs kept the project on track, allowing for adjustments as needed, such as addressing unforeseen subfloor repairs.

We incorporated thoughtful ergonomics to ensure Todd and his family comfort and accessibility:​

  • Upstairs laundry for ease of daily routine

  • A technologically advanced bidet 

  • A spacious zero clearance walk-in shower to replace the dated tub/shower combo

 

These adjustments were functional and woven into the design to enhance the bathroom’s aesthetic. The result was a testament to Angry Cat Contracting’s commitment to marrying form with function.

ENJOY

Todd can now step into a realm of tranquility: his custom walk-in shower, a personal haven within the home. The completion of the build marked the start of countless moments of peace, with every thoughtfully selected feature—from a large walk-in shower for comfort to the technologically advanced bidet-designed to enhance daily comfort.

Now, Todd’s routine is elevated with ease and elegance, transforming the bathroom into both a space for rejuvenation and a true sanctuary for relaxation.
